Good start
Had it for a week. Had some issues initially mapping with turns on soft edges, and getting all the way to the exge, but a bit of adjustment here and there and it's running great. Lawn looks fantastic, and goes perfectly on grass, just off grass and soft firt patches it can get bogged. 

Overall very happy and will continue to refine.

“The Future is Here—And It’s Mowing My Lawn While I Watch Netflix”

As a paraplegic bloke, pushing a regular lawn mower around is about as realistic as me entering a leg-day competition. But guess what? Technology said “hold my beer”, and delivered the Mammotion Yuka Mini. 

This little robot is like the Roomba’s country cousin who swapped vacuuming for serious grass-cutting business. It quietly zips around the yard, mowing in neat little lines, while I supervise from the comfort of my chair—coffee in one hand, remote in the other. 

Setup? Easy. The hardest part was figuring out which button actually turns it on (pro tip: it’s not the WiFi reset). Once it’s going, it’s like watching a tiny, green-taming Terminator. No back pain, no sweat, no swearing at the mower cord. 

It’s quiet, efficient, and makes me feel like I’m living in The Jetsons—minus the flying car. Best part? The neighbours are jealous. They’re out there pushing their noisy petrol monsters while I’m chilling,
watching my robo-lawn-legend do all the hard work. If you’re on wheels like me, or just allergic to effort, the Yuka Mini is a game-changer. The future has arrived, and it’s mowing my lawn.

So far, so good
So far, so good! We are on day 1! I first did the update and changed the settings to 11” cutting width! I then went ahead and mapped my backyard. Once finished, it asked if I wanted to save it….. I said yes…. But it never saved. So I moved on and started to map the front side of my house. It was a success!

I sat out a lawn chair and watched as it ran through the front side of my house. It was set to the quickest speed setting and took 75 minutes to complete, which seemed a bit slow to me…

I did lose GPS signal for a good 20 minutes. I eventually moved the lawn mower, and it started going again, but my lawn “lines” were completely crooked after that.

Either way, it was a success for day 1. It is now charging and I will map the other side of the front yard tomorrow!

*It does not do smart mapping like a robot vacuum. It will take the exact route that you map out for your border! - in case you were wondering! :) *

Yuka Mini 600H - my Magical Robot Mower
It’s been almost 3 weeks since Yuka Mini 600H arrived. Like all men, I went quickly through tutorial and rushed my setup and installation. My house has a decent size lawn ~4200 square feet. I decided to divide it into 4 different zones. 1850, 500, 1850 (1200 & 650). I am running Yuka Mini 1 time a week per section, currently Wed Zone 1, Thur Zone 4, Fri Zone 2 & 3.
Yuka Mini 600H allows me to cut at 3.5 inch max height and allows super maneuverability in tight spots - which I have a few around our fruit trees in the back. My only mistake during setup, was placing RTK station (which needs proper satellite signal) too close to the house and near a fence. I mapped yard and then realized I need to move the RTK, problem with that is when you move RTK you loose your MAP 😭. So I had to start over, good thing that Yuka Mini just like rest of Mammotion mowers can automatically map an area (did it manually 1st time around, cause I am a noob 😜), so second time around I made it map each zone, Zone 1 is fenced with a pool and unit did a great job creating perimeter. Zone 2 & 3 shares yard with my neighbor’s so I drove the unit manually to create border then allowed Yuka to map rest autonomously 🤩. Zone 4 is also fenced so that was done automatically.

Yuka Mini 600H takes all day to cut 1800 square feet, 8am till 8pm. I decided to get smaller battery version 2.4 Ah so unit must return to recharge 4-5 during that time. Some folks are bothered by it, others don’t care. Since I am not cutting the grass myself, I do not care as long as it does not get stuck. Remember this is 2 full cuts of your lawn (horizontal and then vertical) none of us does it manually with their yard, right 😜. Since Yuka Mini has a swappable battery I will probably upgrade to 6.1 Ah battery that Yuka Mini 800H comes with in the future (maybe). This will speed up cuts because it will cut recharging from 4-5 to 2-3 only, honestly still on the fence on this since lawn gets cut and it’s fine if it takes all day cause I am not in the sun doing it! 💪

1st week was a learning experience with Mammotion App. Did I watch the tutorial - lol nope, so I can only blame myself.

So remember watch tutorial before setup, place charging station on a flat surface without obstruction so mower can dock/undock easily. Some folks complain about it, so I made sure I did it right 1st time around!

Map your zones and IMPORTANT create Channel(s) to connect each zone. That way mower can travel between the zones and knows how to return back to charging station on its own 😜. Like I said I learned a LOT 1st week.
You will find a pattern in regard to areas where Mower gets stuck, this is where NO GO ZONES come in. After 2nd run in each zone I felt that I can now create necessary NO GO ZONES to keep mower doing its job without me going to help it get unstuck. I made sure each zone is correctly expanded or collapsed so only gras is getting cut, not a dirt or mulch/bark patch lol. I created a perimeter around each Tree so mower does not hit it or gets stuck in the dirt around it.

My last run for each zone resulted in the best cut yet with the smallest amount of interventions. Zone 1 had mower get stuck 1 time only, vs 1st cut maybe 7-8 times lol. Zones 2-3, 3 interventions vs 10 (still improving this cause of a crazy slope in one area, will fix that soon), Zone 4, 0 interventions.

Bottom line, I LOVE this robot mower and will be getting extended warranty and garage for it soon, once accessories become available in my region. Bigger battery is a maybe, was worth saving $200 initially.

Oh, and since wife was worried someone can steal our Yuka Mini, I installed Apple AirTag inside spot designed for it under the cover! 😀

Last thing, I already got 1 firmware update which was easy to install. One big request from Mammotion is to allow users to backup their MAP data. Remember Never press any button that will make you loose/delete all that hard work. Hoping Mammotion will add option to backup MAP data so you can easily restore it in cause of user error or software update issue etc.

Would I buy it again? YES!
I have been using the Yuka for just over 4 months and the lawn looks better already. It always looks the same height and clean. I used to pay for a lawn service, now I let the Yuka collect the leaves and cut the lawn and all I do is trim. Our property is flat with several large tree's and several types of grass that have to be cut all year, The Yuka handles them all.With so many options in the app it might take a little time to get your settings and map the way you like it but once you do there is very little to no effort. You have full control of cut speed, height, angle, spread and you can even control the machine while it cuts / sweeps manually if you like. We have a lot of tree cover which was a concern but have had no communication issues between the RTK, Yuka, Satellite's. It will even know when it's raining and delay the cut.The Yuka cuts the entire property on one charge, If the battery gets low it returns to the charging station and once re charged goes back to complete the task.We did buy the sweeper option since we have a couple of very large oak trees that always seem to be dropping leaves, I will send the Yuka out just to do that task at times with good results. It picks up the small oak leaves and the large Mango tree leaves with no problem.After an update we had a couple of issues so I reached out to support, they responded and took care of the issue ASAPOverall this has been a great addition to our home, we are very satisfied with the product. It does what we ask it to do at a high quality and allows us to spend more time doing other things. Win Win

How long does it take to cut the grass.
My lawn has 5 cutting areas totaling 11,947 sq. ft. There are sidewalks, curbs and several planting areas, some in the middle of the area to be cut. The estimated mowing time for all 5 areas is 147 minutes at 2 feet per second mower speed. Starting at 100% charge, the actual elapsed time including charging was 4:22; temperature between 50 and 60 degrees. I have good GPS satellite reception in my area. My grass is Bermuda grass and none if it was actually cut – its December and the grass is dormant – but the blades were spinning.

Getting Started
After unboxing, initial charging, downloading the Mammotion app for your phone and creating a user ID it’s time to setup the equipment.
First, select locations for the RTK ( main satellite antenna ) and the charging station. The RTK needs a clear view of the sky. The clearer the view the better. The charging station needs a good view of the sky for satellite connection because the mower, when parked at the station, needs the satellite connection to get started. The mower’s coordinates when parked at the station, are used to establish the GPS coordinates of the station. When mowing, the status page on your phone, if you touch the status bar, it displays a comprehensive connection status. One of the important things in the display is the number of “Co-viewing” satellites for the RTK and the mower. The more the merrier. I had good results with more than 20 for both L1 & L2 satellites. I moved the RTK and the charging station around until they both had good satellite connections. You will need power for the charging station and the RTK. If you co-locate the RTK with the station, there is a connector for the RTK inside the tower of the charging station. If they are in different locations, there is a separate power supply for the RTK. The included cables are very long.
Next, establish a Bluetooth and WiFi connection to the mower and RTK. Do not use a guest WiFi network because the two devices will not see each other. You can manually drive the mower using the Bluetooth connection.
With good GPS signals, I mapped one small area adjacent to the charger, told the mower to cut the area, broke open a beer and watched. It drove the perimeter correctly, mowed the area in the desired path and returned to the charger, I was happy. Next, I mapped an adjacent small area. It mowed that area, drove thru the first area and back to the charger. I was not concerned with precision area mapping. My focus was on RTK to mower connection and satellite reception in my yard. I mapped 3 more areas testing each one to ensure that the mower did not get lost. All five areas worked.
Mapping Areas
You need to drive the mower around your yard to map the areas to mow. If you must drive over a sidewalk or driveway, to connect one area to another, you create a channel. If two areas touch you do not need to create a channel. I broke some very large contiguous grassy areas into several smaller areas.
The app calls mowing “Tasks”. Each task describes a mapped area to mow and a collection of settings. Settings include when to start mowing, “Task speed” how fast – in feet per second – to drive the mower, the type of cutting path, path spacing, number of perimeter laps, number of no-go zone laps, and path order.

Setup
In my case getting started was not as easy as many videos lead you to believe. I spent about 6 hours figuring out why the mower and the RTK would not connect. Turns out, when I installed the app it said it needed to update the firmware on the mower, which it did. The installed firmware on the RTK would not talk to the new firmware on the mower. After updating the RTK firmware, the mower and RTK connected and started working.

Other Observations
1. To map an area, you position the mower on the perimeter of an area and manually drive the mower around until you are back at the starting point. I am not a very smooth operator in terms of sliding my thumbs around on a phone screen to move the mower. Also has the mower trundles along there is some left and right drift. The little corrections I made to keep the mower on the intended path, show up in the mapped perimeter. When the mower actually cuts the perimeter it jinks right and left just like it did when I was laying out the area. There is an option to modify the path during this process. But if you are already awkward with the thumb controls it was little help. One solution in to drive the mower around in a wheelbarrow, that is less precise but very fast. I pulled my mower on a piece of cardboard, which negated the drifting and made it very easy follow the curve of a sidewalk or driveway. I could see exactly where the rear wheel of the mower was relative the edge of the area.
2. Out of the box the app sets the cutting width to about 7”. The Yuka 2000 has a cutting width of 11.4”. So, you need to change the cutting width in the task area to avoid wasting time. You can only change this when it is NOT mowing....

very temperamental/buggy, but i love it.
hopefully with app updates the mower will be less problematic. there's hasn't been a time where I can just open the app and program my mower to mow. with that being said. it mows wonderfully when it starts. I'm impressed with how fine it cuts my lawn even in thick grass. the battery lasts a decent amount of time and will auto recharge then resume after charged up. while it's mowing I clean out my flower beds, while its mowing I can weed eat. it definitely makes the tasks of lawn upkeep easier. and my yard looks better because of it.

A Must-Have for Lawn Perfectionists!
I purchased the Mammotion Yuka 1500 robot lawnmower with the sweeper attachment and extra battery, and let me tell you—it has completely revolutionized my lawn care routine. I was tired of relying on a lawn service with inconsistent schedules, especially since I wanted my kids to enjoy playing soccer on a perfectly short lawn. Now, thanks to the Yuka 1500, my lawn is mowed like clockwork, and it honestly looks like a golf green!

Setup and Mapping—A Breeze!
Setting up the Yuka 1500 was a fun and surprisingly easy experience. The GPS RTK station needs a clear view of the sky, and mounting it on my back deck railing (amidst my many trees) worked perfectly. Mapping the zones felt like playing with a remote control car! Pro tip: don’t worry about getting too close to the edges—leave a little space, especially if you have trees or brush, and tackle those edges with a trimmer.

Performance—Impressive Across the Board
This mower exceeded my expectations. It handles my front lawn (7,000 square feet!) like a pro, completing the task in about 176 minutes with a recharge in between. The automated schedule means I don’t have to think about it—it just gets the job done. The extra battery is a game changer for extended sessions, and while I haven’t used the sweeper attachment as much, it’s fantastic for dethatching and leaf cleanup.

Quiet, Clean, and Low-Maintenance
You barely hear this thing running, which is amazing considering it’s essentially keeping my lawn looking pristine. The noise is comparable to an electric weed whacker, and operationally, it’s very quiet. Maintenance has been minimal—just flipping the blades at the end of the season and giving the bottom a quick clean. I also plan to stow away the RTK station during the winter to avoid damage, but remapping my zones is easy and even a little fun!

Stripe Patterns and No-Go Zones—Perfect for Soccer Field Vibes!
I’m all about aesthetics, and the Yuka 1500 delivers with clean, crisp mowing patterns. They’re smaller than what you might see at a pro baseball field, but they add a polished touch to my yard. No-go zones and dumping zones are great features, especially when using the sweeper, and object detection works well—I had to trim back a weeping cherry tree, but after that, the mower navigated like a pro.

Tech Savvy Required
I work in the software industry, so tinkering with home electronics is second nature to me. I found the app pretty easy to use, and if you’re comfortable setting up a Ring alarm system or any household automation device that’s a bit more technical than a Roomba, you’ll probably have no trouble with this mower. But, if tech scares you, this may not be the best choice. Regular software updates and potential connectivity issues do come up, so being able to troubleshoot those is important for smooth operation.

A Few Minor Hiccups
If you have a sloped lawn or tricky terrain, keep in mind the Yuka 1500 prefers flatter ground. Mine has a slight slope near the driveway, and while it usually handles it well, the occasional skid can happen. For steeper or trickier lawns, I’d suggest upgrading to the four-wheel drive Luba model. Also, heavy tree cover can sometimes mess with the satellite signal, but that’s a rare occurrence and easy to fix by manually guiding the mower for a bit.

Final Thoughts—A Game-Changer for Lawn Care
This mower is exactly what I was looking for—short, neat grass with minimal effort. I’ve cut out my lawn service completely, and while I still do a little weed whacking and leaf blowing here and there, it’s a small price to pay for a consistently beautiful lawn. If you’re considering the sweeper attachment (highly recommended!) or the extra battery, do it—you won’t regret it.

P.S. If you’re in a leafy area like I am, grab the Echo 9010T leaf blower as well. It pairs perfectly with this mower, especially during fall cleanup.

If you have a clear view of the sky, and your lawn isn't an obstacle course, it should work
This has exceeded my expectations, it's been a nice quality of life improvement for me and my neighbors. I've only had it for about 2 weeks and just hope everything holds up over the long term.I've really only had 1 issue where I had to power cycle, disconnect charger to get it to detect a charge again. I ordered another battery too to double the capacity. Also, don't expect this thing to race laps around your lawn, it's slow but precise.Setup is a breeze (actually kind of fun). The app could be a little more intuitive (took me a while to figure out I had to tap on the robot to bring up the map functionality). I've spent some times on the forums and I think you should still have an interest with tinkering with this stuff in case something throws you off, it's not quite at a 'set it and forget it' level.They also say on the chargers to keep them in a dry location which can be difficult so I rigged up this little DIY electrical box (see pic). Looking forward to watching this tech evolves, seems like it's on the tipping point for mainstream adoption.**Edit**I've had it for about 5 weeks now, I have to drop it to 4 stars for the following reasons. I am a big supporter of this product and the technology, however, customer support and the quality of the cut could be better.Their support can take a while to get in touch with, I've had one technical issue that was solved by pushing out a software update the following day (my device was stuck with an update that wouldn't work).The front of my lawn has a fair amount of twists and turns and there are quite a bit of missed patches after a single pass, a second pass in another direction helps quite a bit. I end up hitting it with my weed whacker since it's not a big area, so it's not a big deal.The application is pretty incredible considering how much you can customize and visualize in the application. I do get a lot of disconnects to my RTK/mower and just have to tap reconnect. I do wish that when you're creating/editing a task, that the path/pattern of the mower would show up instantly in the map. It does show you the path while it's mowing though which is fun to watch.There are so many positive things about this product, I am only writing the negative here in hopes of Mammotion reading it. I have a Roomba as well that vacuums and I end up spending more time trying to fix that than the mower which is surprising...I think it deserves 4.5 stars, it is a huge time saver and it covers my neighbors lawns on the left and right. If Mammotion continues to improve their products and support then they will have a bright future.
